"Politically Motivated" Mutilation - Real or Hoax?

Ashley Todd, the woman who said she got robbed, then beaten down after the attacker saw a McCain/Palin bumper sticker, and finally had a "B" carved into her face is starting to look suspicious.

Pittsburgh law enforcement sources say they are seriously questioning the authenticity of the alleged victims story. Law enforcement are conducting a thorough investigation because parts of her story don't add up.

I find it interesting that the B is carved into her face as a mirror image, making me think that she cut it into her own face in front of a mirror. A classic idiot move - which wouldn't shock me coming from someone sporting a McCain/Palin sticker. She is also a Texan - surprise surprise.
