Exxon Mobil has the largest quarterly profit in U.S. history

Exxon Mobil, the largest U.S. oil company, announced Thursday that an advance of 58% in its profit in the third quarter of 2008, to $ 14.83 billion, the highest result ever obtained for this period in the history of United States.
