Parsons Corporation Spent U$72 Million on Useless Buildings in Iraq

·

Cost Plus contract: the more you spend, the more you earn. That is how Iraq has been managed by the Bu$h administration. How does it work? For example, Parsons Corporation will make 3% profit for the amount spent on their rebuilding Iraq efforts. The problem on this approach is that Parsons instructed their managers to spend as much as they needed, to hire as much they could. As to no surprise to anyone, they spent U$72 million dollars in useless buildings.

This is the current strategy done in Iraq. They are giving us the finger, and that is all we get. When Congress stepped in and asked to get our money back from Parsons Corp, Parsons Statement clarifies and emphasizes the middle finger in the tax payer’s face:

"I have some conjecture, but that's all it would be."
